Train regulation before you need it.

Kalmo is a pocket-sized companion for the days that get away from you. Notice what is happening, do one small thing about it, and keep a record you own — shareable with your therapist, one note at a time.

Kalmo does not diagnose you. It supports the work you are already doing.

This is a self-regulation and note-taking tool that sits alongside therapy — not a medical device, not a substitute for a professional, and not an assessment of any condition. Nothing here is a clinical judgement. If you are in treatment, Kalmo gives your therapist better material to work with; if you are not, it gives you a practice and a record you can bring to one.

How it works

Five moments a day. None of them takes long.

The app is built around one loop: a starting point in the morning, a small practice, whatever your day actually does to you, brief check-ins, and a close. Each day starts from what the last one taught you, not from zero.

1
60–90 s

Starting day

Where you are before the day touches you: sleep, energy, what occupies your mind, what would count as enough today.

2
3–10 min

Daily practice

Breathing, attention, somatic work, visualisation. Small enough to actually do, and you do it before you need it.

3
All day

Everyday life

Work, relationships, movement, decisions, rest. Kalmo is there when you reach for it, in the channel you prefer.

4
15–30 s

Pulse

A check-in you can do standing up. One number, optional context, and it tunes what gets suggested next.

5
2–5 min

Ending day

What happened, what helped, what you are leaving until tomorrow, and what you want to bring to therapy.

Every day feeds the next: baseline → practice → life → pulse → close → a new day that does not start from zero.
When something happens

From a hard moment to something you can learn from.

A difficult conversation, a bad night, a wave of panic. You write, speak or record it, Kalmo helps you structure it, offers the resource that has worked for you before, and asks afterwards whether it actually helped.

1
Two ways in
A note, a voice memo, a video, or a fifteen-second pulse. Whatever you can manage at that moment.
2
Structure, not interpretation
What happened, how activated you are, the context. Your own words are always kept as you wrote them.
3
A resource that fits you
Personal anchors first — your song, your walk, your specific breath — then the general library.
4
Did it help?
One rating afterwards. Over time Kalmo learns which resource works for which state, for you.

Your data

It is yours. Nobody reads it unless you decide.

Notes are private the moment you write them. Sharing is a choice you make note by note, and you can undo it later. There is no feed, no social layer, and nothing is sold to anyone.

Private by default
Every note starts private. Marking one shared is one deliberate tap.
Only professionals you connect
You choose which professional gets access, and what they can see: shared notes, history, ratings.
Revocable, always
Unshare a note or disconnect a professional whenever you want. Access ends immediately.
Export or delete
Take everything with you as a file, or delete your account and its contents for good.

The team

A therapist and an engineer, building one thing together.

Kalmo exists because clinical practice and software were designed side by side rather than one after the other. Every resource in the app has a clinical reason to be there, and every clinical idea had to survive being built.

Talk to us.

Questions, clinical collaborations, press, or something that went wrong — this reaches a person, not a queue.

We answer in English and Spanish, usually within two working days. Please do not send clinical details or anything urgent through this form.

Kalmo is not an emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right now — in Spain, 024; in the EU, 112; in Argentina 911.
